History
The Peel Football and Netball League Inc. in 2019 was interested in becoming involved with State Netball and felt that a pathway for Netball was extremely important to the Peel Region by having a strong and vibrant competition. Entering a side into the West Australian Netball League (WANL) to become the eight team was the main focus. The Peel Lightning Netball Club Inc. history is ‘yes’ in its infancies stage but will be forging ahead to be very competitive with the Open (League) and Under 20’s teams in season 2020 and then 2021. The appointment of coaches Naomi Pannell and Tracey Boreham brings a wealth of netball experience to the program and being a new club is invaluable. Exciting times ahead for this new club and with the support of the community, the City of Mandurah, supporters and sponsors makes for a very exciting future.
